Hi, I’m Saskia. I met Bernice through friends in Ghana two years ago, when I was looking for an orphanage to donate stuffed animals to, and immediately the orphans stole my heart. They were a bit more in numbers than I expected, Bernice takes care of over 400 children, orphans or destitutes and she helps out sick adults and older people in her surroundings as well. Ghana doesn’t have a care system like Europe, so many people depend on organization like MAcare. I am helping Bernice with Public Relations, promotion of the non-profit-organization, bringing together the people who want to help, sometimes from all over the world.
